What We Believe

Our faith is rooted in God’s grace—a love freely given and made known to us in Jesus.

We do not claim to have every answer. We trust that God meets us in scripture, worship, Communion, community, and the ordinary experiences of our lives.

God's Grace Comes First

We believe God’s love is a gift. It is not something we earn by believing the right things, behaving perfectly, or having life figured out.

Grace meets us as we are and continues working within us. Because we are loved, we are freed to love and serve our neighbors.

Following Jesus

Jesus shows us what God’s love looks like in the world.

He crosses boundaries, welcomes those pushed aside, feeds people, offers forgiveness, confronts injustice, and creates communities of healing and belonging.

Rooted and Open

We are grounded in scripture and the traditions of the church while remaining open to where the Spirit is leading.

Faith is alive. It grows through prayer, questions, conversation, experience, and life shared with others.

We do not believe questions weaken faith. Honest questions can draw us more deeply into God’s presence.

Lutheran & ELCA

Holy Trinity is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

As Lutherans, we place God’s grace at the center of our faith. We gather around God’s word and the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, trusting that God is present and active among us.

We are part of a wider church committed to sharing God’s love, working for justice and peace, caring for creation, and serving our neighbors.

What is Lutheran
Faith That Shapes How We Live

Faith is more than a set of ideas. It shapes how we live, how we treat one another, and how we respond to the needs of the world.

We believe God calls us to seek justice, practice compassion, care for creation, welcome our neighbors, and participate in the healing of our communities.

We live this imperfectly—but together, we keep learning what love asks of us.
